Paul immigrated to Canada and settled in Vancouver in 1970. His preferred medium is oil and though skilled in portraiture, his work has come full circle to settle on the mountains, forest, clouds and water that so intrigued him as a child.

At the 2014 European Festival it was greatly appreciated that he generously offered to showcase his hand-crafted castle, based on the famous Neuschwanstein one in Germany, at the featured German tent, held in Burnaby at that time. The castle, as well as a small replica of a Bavarian House are for sale, as well.
